Mango, one of Europe’s most global fashion brands, presents its first spring/summer proposal with the latest drop of its Selection collection, this time focusing on celebrating the power of fashion which, given the powerful means of expression it is, elevates us with its unquestionable capacity to raise our spirits.

With a clear intention to elevate everyday looks, the latest edition of Selection is a more advanced fashion proposal that impeccably combines more formal tailored garments – at all times with a bold air – with other garments from a sportier wardrobe. Jackets and other tailored garments present themselves with an urban, and in some cases, particularly feminine air.

This new Selection proposal, which welcomes the renewal that spring offers, is made up of 23 garments and 14 accessories based on urban outfits that combine timeless garments with more on-trend ones, such as structured tailoring, fine quality outerwear, leather and denim garments, and premium accessories.

Tailoring is the cornerstone of the collection, especially in the jackets and structured outerwear garments. This garment appears in several versions, from the model that has accentuated shoulders and is fitted at the waist thanks to an elastic belt tied around it several times, to the blazer body to be worn inside the trousers, as well as outerwear pieces such as structured trench coats. All of them combine easily with garments from the sportwear wardrobe, such as the leather running jacket and the satin-finish shorts inspired by boxing, or others that offer a more feminine counterpoint, such as skirts and puffed dresses.  

Also worthy of mention are the garments essential in any wardrobe, which are presented as revisited classics. The trousers – whether fabric or denim – offer an extra-long hem which folds outwards to produce a double-leg effect. The shirts present themselves in different fits in more premium cotton or the best silk, which can also be found in long lace dresses.

Captured through the lens of the photographer Angelo Penetta, the campaign stars the model Selena Forrest in a setting of marked architectural character that takes the collection to new heights.
