THE One recently partnered with Doha Festival City, Qatar’s premier shopping destination, and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for their 17th annual blood drive. The event was held from June 11th to June 13, indoors at Doha Festival City, from 12 pm to 8pm, inviting the public to contribute to our community through blood donations. Driving a record number of 96 donations, the 17th edition of the blood drive was a great success.
Three fully equipped donation stations manned by skilled HMC professionals, were set up at the First Floor Center Court. This strategic setup ensured a comfortable and efficient process, accommodating many donors. Participants were reassured of the safety and effectiveness of the donation procedures, encouraging widespread community involvement.
The event, held in honour of Blood Donor Day, highlighted the vital importance of blood donation, a selfless act that can significantly impact lives. THE One is honoured to have hosted this essential community initiative, emphasising its commitment to making a positive difference.
